Title: Founding Account Executive / Location: New York, NY (in-person)
Compensation: $110-150K OTE (uncapped commission + accelerators 👀); 0.25 - 0.5% equity; benefits (healthcare, vision, dental); lots of bagels

What We Do: DonorAtlas builds software that empowers organizations to efficiently find and research donors, democratizing access to capital for social good. Our users are people who want to make the world a better place–primarily nonprofit and political organizations. My cofounder and I started DonorAtlas during undergrad at Harvard in early 2024; we raised our seed round last fall*; and we’re growing fast enough that we need more people than me (the CEO) doing sales.

What You Will Do:
- Execute outbound: Identify, engage, and close leads within our ICP. Sample clients closed from outbound last quarter include:
- The New York Cancer Foundation
- The Governor of New York's re-election campaign
- A major progressive voter turnout org (with >3M donors)
- Close a deal in your first two weeks: Users love DonorAtlas and buy quickly
- Shape our GTM strategy: Collaborate daily (hourly, more likely) with me to improve everything we do on the sales side (inbound, sales enablement content, conference strategy, crazy experiments, etc)
- Grow and lead: Close bigger & bigger deals and eventually lead future AEs and BDRs
- Work In Person: Work daily from our NYC office (330 7th Ave) with Empire State building views
- Travel for conferences and dinners: We like to meet our clients where they are as much as we can
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience across the full sales cycle: You have both conducted outbound and closed deals
- A winner’s instinct: Your friends would describe you as competitive
- Well-rounded mindset: You’re excited to think laterally and contribute to product discussions
- Inclination towards social good: You care about the role of mission-driven organizations in society
Requirements:
- Location: Must be based in New York City or willing to relocate
- Education: We value experience & skills over formal education or any specific degree
Our Hiring Process:
- Screening Call: A 30-minute call with our CEO to assess fit and initial interest
- Mock Pitch: You will set up and conduct a mock discovery/demo call with my cofounder and I
- Final Interview: 45 minutes fielding questions from our entire team of five
